Eucharistic Celebration for the Opening of the Senior High School Intramurals

𝐄𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬
Last January 30, 2025, the Senior High School community gathered for a Eucharistic Mass to mark the opening of the much-awaited 𝐒𝐇𝐒 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. With 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨, 𝐂𝐌, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 as the Mass Presider, the celebration was a meaningful opportunity to seek God’s blessings for a spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and unity throughout the competition.


Attended by the 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬,, the Mass served as a reminder that beyond the games, this event is also a journey of discipline, teamwork, and respect.
May this Intramurals be a time of growth, friendship, and excellence, all for the greater glory of God!

Grade 12 Recollection

𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙙𝙐-𝙎𝙃𝙎 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱
Last January 27-28, 2025, the Senior High School Campus Ministry Office held a meaningful Grade 12 recollection with the theme Vincentians as Pilgrims of Hope: Journeying in the Spirit of Jesus Christ.


Guided by Bro. John Eleazar Chico ‘JL Chico’, this experience allowed students to reflect, renew their faith, and embrace hope as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.

Novena Mass for the Feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal

On the 8th day of the Novena Mass for the Feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, November 25, 2024, the liturgical celebration was presided by His Excellency Most Reverend Socrates B. Villegas, DD, alongside Rev. Fr. Joel Rescober, CM, and Rev. Fr. Yulito Ignacio.


This special celebration brought together the community and our senior high school Klasmeyts together in a moment of unity and faith, as everyone went together to honor the loving and caring intercession of the Lady of the Miraculous Medal.
Through the prayers of The Blessed Mother, we continue to seek hope, guidance, and miracles in our lives, especially in times of trials. May her maternal love guide us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

Vocational Talk and Forum

November 14, 2024

After the room-to-room talk, the Campus Ministry Office, along with the invited priests, brothers, and sisters, hosted a Vocational Talk and Forum last Thursday, November 14, 2024 to formally close out the Vocation Awareness Week. This gathering allowed the ABM and HUMSS Senior High School Students along with the faculty members to reflect on the importance of vocation and renew their commitment to answering God’s call.
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this week a meaningful spiritual experience.

Room-to-Room Vocational Talk

Last week Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the Campus Ministry Office organized a room-to-room vocation campaign, inviting priests, nuns, and brothers from various religious congregations to engage with students. This initiative offered an opportunity for students to reflect on their calling and engage in meaningful discussions about the priesthood and religious life.

Mass for the Faithful Departed

Last November 8, 2024, our senior high school Klasmeyts got together in the Saint de Paul Parish for the Mass of the Faithful Departed presided by Rev. Fr. John Khongsai, CM, Campus Ministry Office Chaplain.


The Holy Mass was a solemn gathering, where Klasmeyts united in prayer to remember and honor the souls of our dearly departed, reminding us that the ones we love never truly leave us, but live on in the memories we cherish and the prayers we offer.

Praying the Holy Rosary

𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 🕊️
This October, as we honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, we invite all our senior high school students in prayer for peace.

 
We invite all STEM students to join us on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 7 AM to come together for a special and meaningful Rosary offering.
We also invite all ABM and HUMSS students to join us on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 7 AM for a morning of unity and prayer.


Guidelines:
1. The Praying of the Holy Rosary will be done inside the classroom.


2. The subject teachers will supervise the praying of the holy rosary. PowerPoint Presentation will be provided for those who want to use it.


3. The schedule for the simultaneous praying of the Holy Rosary is from 7:00 – 7:30 AM. Blocks who are not yet in the school during that time or blocks belonging to PM shifts will pray the rosary during their first-period class.


4. The class adviser will assign the prayer leader for their advisory class and advise Catholic students to bring a rosary.


5. Everyone is expected to observe proper decorum and participate actively while praying the Holy Rosary.
Let us all take this opportunity to reflect on the value of peace, give thanks for our successful midterms, and seek strength in our faith. As a community, we will gather to pray the Rosary, a powerful symbol of hope, believing that our collective prayers can make a positive impact on the world.

Celebration of the Feast of Saint Vincent de Paul

The AdU-SHS Youth Servers for Christ shared free porridge at the Meralco Grounds this September 27, 2024, in celebration of the Feast of Saint Vincent de Paul.
This small gesture serves as a way of giving to the community and an opportunity for our klasmeyts, teachers, and staff to share a small breakfast together, building a sense of unity and camaraderie among each other.

Novena Mass for St. Vincent de Paul

September 17–26, 2024

Join us for the Novena Mass as we come together to commemorate and reflect on the profound teachings of our remarkable patron saint, St. Vincent de Paul. This is a special opportunity for our Adamson community to deepen our faith and commitment to helping those in need, inspired by St. Vincent’s example of compassion and service. As we honor his lasting legacy, we invite the assigned sections and attendees to unite in prayer and seek his guidance.


We encourage everyone to bring bath soap and toothpaste (sachet only) for the first day of the Novena Mass on September 17, 2024, and on the day of the Fiesta Mass and Procession on September 27, 2024. The collected items from the offering will be used in the Campus Ministry Office’s gift-giving activity. For the Novena Mass on September 23, 2024, we encourage the attendees to bring instant noodles or canned goods for the offering, which will be donated to the SVP Parish gift-giving activity for the indigents.

First Holy Communion

September 14, 2024

Adamson University – Senior High School celebrated the First Communion ceremony on September 14, 2024, officiated by Rev. Fr. Flaviano Caintic, CM, Parochial Vicar of St. Vincent de Paul Parish. This important gathering was filled with faith and spiritual growth as our Klasmeyts received the Sacrament of First Communion, deepening their connection with the God and the Church.


Heartfelt congratulations to all our Klasmeyts for reaching this significant milestone! 💙This small gesture serves as a way of giving to the community and an opportunity for our klasmeyts, teachers, and staff to share a small breakfast together, building a sense of unity and camaraderie among each other.

First Holy Communion Seminar

September 13, 2024

The seminar for the First Holy Communion was held on September 13, 2024, at the Cardinal Santos Institutional Gallery. The seminar speaker was Mr. Kenichi Andreu Tigas, wherein the Biblical foundations and significance of the Holy Eucharist were discussed.


Our Klasmeyts who attended this seminar also took the Sacrament of Reconciliation at Saint Therese Chapel, led by Rev. Fr. John Khongsai, CM., Campus Ministry Office Chaplain.
We are extending our appreciation and prayers for our Klasmeyts who took this significant step in their lives as faithful believers of God.

General Assembly

September 13, 2024

The Youth Servers for Christ held a successful general assembly on September 13, 2024, featuring guest speaker Mr. Kenichi Andreu Tigas, giving a talk centered around the theme, “Vincentian Volunteers as Pilgrims of Hope.”


The Youth Servers for Christ’s role as the official religious organization of the Adamson University — Senior High School was highlighted, including its future directions to further strengten and establish faith, compassion, humility, and service amongs its members and stakeholders.


The assembly highlighted the role of Vincentian volunteers not only as pilgrims of hope but also as individuals who foster openness, peace, and empathy in their service. True hope, grounded in faith, never disappoints; this serves as an inspiration to persevere and make a lasting impact to those they serve.

Culminating of Buwan ng Wika

Banal na Misa para sa Pagtatapos ng Buwan ng Wika: “Wikang Filipino: Wikang Mapagpalaya”

 
Noong Setyembre 13, 2024, ginanap ang isang espesyal na Banal na Misa sa Parokya ni San Vicente de Paul mula alas-8:00 ng umaga hanggang alas-9:00 ng umaga bilang paggunita sa pagtatapos ng Buwan ng Wika. Ang tema ng pagdiriwang na “Wikang Filipino: Wikang Mapagpalaya” ay nagbigay-diin sa mahalagang papel ng wikang Filipino sa pagpapalakas ng ating pambansang pagkakakilanlan at pagkakaisa bilang isang sambayanan.


Kasunod ng Banal na Misa, isinagawa ang pormal na seremonya para sa pagtatapos ng Buwan ng Wika. Si Rev. Fr. Hermy Colina, CM ay nagbigay ng isang makahulugang mensahe na tumatalakay sa kahalagahan ng wikang Filipino sa pagtataguyod ng kapayapaan, pagkakaisa, at malasakit sa kapwa. Binigyang-diin niya ang papel ng wika bilang isang mahalagang daan patungo sa tunay na kalayaan—kalayaan sa pagpapahayag, pagkakakilanlan, at pakikipag-ugnayan sa Diyos at sa ating kapwa.


Ang pagdiriwang ay hindi lamang isang pagkakataon upang ipagdiwang ang ating pambansang wika, kundi isang mahalagang paalala na ang wika, pananampalataya, at paglilingkod ay mga haliging nagpapatibay ng ating pagkatao at pananampalataya.

Join the Adamson University – Senior High School community in invoking the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit as we seek guidance and blessings for this academic year. Blessing of Rooms & Faculty

August 13, 2024

On 13th of August 2024, the Adamson University Senior High School marked a significant day as Rev. Frs. John Khongsai and Biju Escaria Elukennel, both from the Congregation of the Mission, led the blessing of SHS offices, faculty rooms, and classrooms.
Following a solemn Mass of the Holy Spirit, the priests joined in prayer with Senior High School Principal Dr. Nea Sualog, SHS Academic Head Mr. Arnel Clavero, and SHS CMO Coordinator Mr. Jeris Raval, seeking divine guidance for the academic year 2024-2025, before subsequently blessing the classrooms, faculty rooms, and offices.
As the academic year 2024-2025 commences, the Adamson University community extends its best wishes to the students, faculty, and staff. May the blessings received guide and inspire everyone towards an excellent and worthwhile academic year.

Noong Septyembre 15, 2024, isinagawa ang isang seminar para sa paghahanda ng mga tatanggap ng sakramento ng Kumpil at ang kanilang mga ninong at ninang.
Ang seminar na ito ay naganap sa Parokya ni San Vicente de Paul.
Malugod naming pinasasalamatan ang lahat ng mga dumalo at tumulong sa seminar na ito. Nawa ay magpatuloy ang lahat sa pananampalataya sa Panginoon at patuloy na linangin at pagyamanin ang ating pananampalataya at pag-ibig sa Kaniya sa pamamagitan ng pagtanggap at pagdiriwang ng mga banal na sakramento.
